And how often did you have to change the oil? $85 once or twice a year for an oil change to drive a BMW doesnt seem too bad.

Probably once every 6 weeks or so.

The oil changes were really not that bad compared to some of the maintenance. Even if you did the work yourself, the parts were out of control...

You must have put a lot of miles on that BMW. I doubt i would put more than 10,000 miles a year on the Porsche, maybe not even that.

I am going to the Porsche dealership this saturday. Can anyone give me some tips on what to say, ask, etc?

I went to the dealership yesterday and the salesman and i took a test drive in a Cayman. Awesome car, incredible handling.

Anyway, afterwards back at the dealership i told the salesman what color(s) i would prefer and he said they might be hard to find. I asked him if Porsche only had a geographic area to dealer trade with (say the midwest) or if they could get a Porsche from anywhere (the entire U.S) and he said all over.

Then......he says if they have to go too far there would be transportation costs incurred. Do any of you guys know if this is normal? If they have to ship a Porsche from, say Florida or California, to Indiana should i have to pay to have it shipped?
