I am actually about to get my wife one as well, where did you find a deal for 6k off invoice? I love our current xterra. It has driven me to the local mountains at least 50 times.

We've got a '10 OR X and I love it. I like it more than our z honestly (I'm more of a truck guy vs a sports car guy I think deep down).
Slap a 2-3" lift and some 33"s and you'll be set. I say get it. |

Unless you need the 4x4 capabilities they are pointless for the city.
Engine is great and it's pretty light on it's feet for a vehicle that size but it was too much car for me and the gas mileage was about 14mpg city. I had a black 4x2 SE for about 8 months and traded it in for a 350z! |

I just bought the PRO-4X for my wife about 4 months back and it is really a nice unit. Unfortunately, she thought she would like an SUI after sporting a 328xi. Not the case....Would love to sell it or at a minimum get out of the lease.
The Pro-4X has all of the possible options in addition to the side running rails which I added. If you are interested, send me a PM..I could work out something with you.

My uncle has a supercharged 04. I've driven it a few times and didn't really like the way it drives on the road. Off road might be a different story.
My dad was thinking of getting a new 2011 a few months ago, but reconsidered after seeing the interior in person. Very clunky and lots of cheap plastic. He decided on a Pathfinder instead. Much nicer interior and still capable of some light off-road duty.

The suspension is really firm. My brother has one. Riding in the back seat is a chore, as you'll get tossed repeatedly by every bump.
Mind you, driving it isn't bad, and I'm sure it's a beast off the road. And there are few vehicles I'd trust more in deep snow. |
