One of the true beauties of that engine is it's 8 quart oil capacity....no overheating problems at all! :D

The Mustang's face is ugly, its feet smell, and it's a dumb piece of dumb.

Now now. Let's play nice! lol

I have a 370Z AND a 2007 Mustang (for my daughter) in the family. I like the 'stang cuz it is perfect for my daughter. Pony car. loaded with all the options and a 5 spd V6 so she stays out of trouble. She loves it and I know she is in a safe car for her.
And she doesn't touch the Z.... lol

Truth is I love cars. Doesn't matter the brand really. I love 'em all. I'll take any performance car if someone offered it to me! No favourites (besides the 370Z), really!
I need a 100 car garage (or m4a1mustang needs to renovate the underside of his deck) to hold my dream stable....

The funny thing was all the service requests mentioned that it only happens at the track. Seems like any other manufacturer would be like, "well, that's outside the scope of the vehicle" but they went ahead and issued a TSB. There is also a TSB out there to revise the tune for people who like to Auto-X but want to stay in the stock class.

I was looking on truecar and saw that I could get a GT for a fairly low price.

Temptation is awful.

Non-premium Mustang GT - $26,935

That's a LOT of bang for the buck! :D

The engine alone is worth the price of admission. I threw an exhaust/intake/tune on mine and its a completely different animal, its nearly impossible to keep the stock Pirelli's on the road at part throttle, I'd imagine i could pull a high 11 pass on DR's easy.

one thing I really like about the SCT tuner is I can set the idle (if you want a more beastly sound while your just sittin around), the rev limiter and speed cutout with a few clicks on the menu. Its pretty damn awesome.

question.... i was at the ford dealership looking at the mustangs ... (seeing if they were cheaper ) for the performance exc... and they have a red, 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 selling it for 27,000 something i went a lil further about it and with the amount im planning on putting down (in general) 12k, we broke down the numbers... id be financing 19k, and my payments would be about the same as my accent i have now, only 35 bucks more per month..... good deal?

/\ well, you should def test drive both and see which one you feel "better" or happier in. The stang def is faster and of course with that v8, you'll get more out of mods for the car. At the end of the day, pick the one that will make you happiest, I don't think you're going to really go wrong either way.

Depends on the options on the GT if that is a good deal or not.

No matter how you cut it, the 5.0 is better value as far as sheer performance goes. I paid around $3k less for mine than I did my Z and feel like I got a lot more. Totally up to you. You know where I stand! :p
