2012 Acura TL, not as fugly
Looks like Acura/Honda finally came to their senses and made some changes to the fugly TL. :)
---- “The 2012 Acura TL is refined, yet aggressive,” said Jeff Conrad, vice president of Acura sales. “Already known for its great performance, the enhanced TL has a sophisticated new look and an all-new 6-speed automatic transmission that will take performance to the next level.” The 2012 TL’s refined new look includes a redesigned front bumper with improved aerodynamics, a revised grille, updated headlights and turn signals, a new fog light design and a shorter front overhang. At the rear, a new rear bumper incorporates a significantly repositioned license plate opening and smaller rear reflectors, while updated taillights and a thinner rear trunk edge trim add to a sophisticated new look. still looks ugly to me lol

Looks a ton better, the current version is horrendous.
I personally would rather have a G37. |
All they did was open the car up on Photoshop and hit gaussian blur.
|
i do not like the way those pics made me puke a bit

Honda really needs to hire some better designers.
If Kia can make nice looking cars, Honda should be able too I hate the point/crease in the rear The TSX is probably their best looking car |

i cant believe they would take a car to a show with those ugly @ss wheels on it. Is that the best option for wheels on that car? I bet that thing aint cheap either.
|
i'm sorry but the old TL type S looks so much better:

I actually saw the TL in person this weekend & it's not bad looking at all. Front end looks similar to the TSX which I really like.
Looks like the SH-AWD version will do a 5.5 0-60 - not bad at all and it's supposed to handle like it's on rails because of the awd |
I think that looks MUCH better than the 2009-2011. I'd still agree and say the 3G is much sexier, and makes me drool a bit at times. If it were RWD, it would be so much more appealing too. I think the interior is better than the G37, although FWD is sh1tty. The 3G TL-s is one of my fav (affordable) 4 doors.

Honda/Acura needs to bring a relatively fair priced (< $35K), stylish RWD coupe into the game. Call it the NRX (mix between the RSX and NSX). Either 4cyl turbo or NA 6cyl (both pushing 300+), slightly bigger than the S2000, and 6MT. That would bring back the Honda game. Otherwise, they really don't have much to offer in terms of enthusiast cars, which saddens me. |
NRX....that would be pretty cool.....performance+honda quality is win
|
imo, it looked better before the 2012 revisions.
B@t |
The grill still looks ugly. Half the car looks decent but the front is just ugly period. The only bright side to this car is the interior. They should of made some changes based on the 3rd GEN (IMO the nicest Gen out of all).
