Still has that ridiculous chrome bucktooth front. Still fails.

The only new Acura I would consider buying is the V6 TSX. That would be the most "reasonable" car on my list. The rest of their cars make me sad... like the Honda line up. No more RSX's, no Preludes, or anything that can even compete with the Hyundai Genesis. :(

I actually saw the TL in person this weekend & it's not bad looking at all. Front end looks similar to the TSX which I really like.
Looks like the SH-AWD version will do a 5.5 0-60 - not bad at all
and it's supposed to handle like it's on rails because of the awd

I think that looks MUCH better than the 2009-2011. I'd still agree and say the 3G is much sexier, and makes me drool a bit at times. If it were RWD, it would be so much more appealing too. I think the interior is better than the G37, although FWD is sh1tty. The 3G TL-s is one of my fav (affordable) 4 doors.

I agree for the most part. Although the new Accord is FWD, it puts up very similar, if not better numbers than the Genesis, as does the TL. The 8G Accord was tested 13.8 @ 102.5 from one magazine, 14.0 @101 from another. Both of which are better than the Genesis in it's RWD glory. One guy on the forum did a few 13.3x runs @105.x with CAI/test pipe.

Honda/Acura needs to bring a relatively fair priced (< $35K), stylish RWD coupe into the game. Call it the NRX (mix between the RSX and NSX). Either 4cyl turbo or NA 6cyl (both pushing 300+), slightly bigger than the S2000, and 6MT. That would bring back the Honda game. Otherwise, they really don't have much to offer in terms of enthusiast cars, which saddens me.

GZ3 03-28-2011 04:09 PM

NRX....that would be pretty cool.....performance+honda quality is win

Bluebatmobile 03-28-2011 04:20 PM

imo, it looked better before the 2012 revisions.

The grill still looks ugly. Half the car looks decent but the front is just ugly period. The only bright side to this car is the interior. They should of made some changes based on the 3rd GEN (IMO the nicest Gen out of all).
