Keep in mind that the GT500 is a dead heat for the CTS-V at the track or the strip. I doubt the Z28 will be slower than the preexisting CTS-V.

Also keep in mind that there is a new GT500 in the works. The 2011 GT500 going to be destroyed by the new one.

If anything, the 'maro should be faster since the cheaper interior materials should also be lighter.

In 2013 as a YM2014 maybe. Everyone was so pumped about 2012, but they wouldn't even put the Watt's link in. Then it was "oh they will put a TVS in it so it can have even less effective power-delivery!". No. No TVS.

The GT500 has evolved as far as it can without a new platform or cost-ineffective modification of this one.
