Ordering I don't doubt, but if you wait until it hits a show-room floor, you are going to see "market adjustment" stickers all over the place. Mainly on the Leguna Seca's.

99% of the Boss sales are all going to be from pre-orders. It will be very rare to find one on the showroom floor that hasn't already been sold.

Sounds like the first ones should start to be delivered in a week or two.

I bet plenty make it to the floor. One would have thought the FGT would have been sold-out, but I saw one at every dealership I went to when they hit the ground.

FGT was a lot different than the Boss, though. The Boss is very accessable. Lots of people held off buying a regular GT so they could get it. Just from the activity I've seen on the forums there are gobs and gobs of orders. I am sure there will be many that make it to the showroom, but the overwhelming majority will be sold before they even hit the lot.

I called two dealers out here, who both say they have one ordered. Neither knew when they were coming in though or would admit to a price but one of them claims there will only be four in the NY area, supposedly

No way there will be only 4 Boss' in all of the NY area. I'm sure there will be more LS model's in that area even.

They might have meant showroom models. Like I was saying, the vast majority have already been sold and will only be at the dealership for the delivery process.

I'm sure they were trying to impress a sense of urgency
All I know is their supposed to call me when they come in and I'll see what kind of deal their trying to make. If I can't race my Z I may have to make the switch... I'm still shocked I'm even considering a Mustang though, I hate fords

If you haven't already watched the hour long documentary on Speed about the new Boss, you probably shouldn't. If you do, you'll do whatever you can to get it.

Damn you, I knew nothing about it. Ignorance is bliss but now I'll have to find it so I can watch it

Yeah, a buddy of mine is diehard GM and he's been around my car for a bit now and admitted to me just recently that it's totally changed his perception of Ford. The Boss is going to be a great turn-(red)key track mule for sure.
