Question on snow driving
I'm going to be borrowing the family BMW X6(AWD) for a trip to Mammoth Mountains but the wheels have summer tires installed. Therefore, I'll be bringing along a pair of snow chains but is this setup safe enough before even needing the chains?

but then again he has snow chains on.
and the X6 is pretty useless for snow driving, I remember a friend who has one getting stuck at our driveway which was like a inch or two of snow. it was seriously pathetic. |
