Another car I'm building...
I've got another project going on aside from my 370Z...
Check it out! I've been working on it for about a year now.. should be finished in a month. Road Race EG build... - K-Series (sorry guys I would post it all but there is like 800 pictures) -David :happydance: |
I got away from Hondas a few years ago. The only project a can do in the future is a 240Z or 260/280Z. But the FD RX-7 3rd Gen is coming one of these days.

Excellent build!
I still have my semi-built Honda also. Good to have a toy to go crazy with and keep the Z usable :) |

Thanks!!

Is that the oil cooler on the bottom left of the picture? Wish I could get the Z to run that cool. I have one of those just for my power steering!
Great build, looking really nice. |

These engines don't really have a hard time cooling the oil anyway, the normal factory setups do a pretty good job. Since this is a block from a Honda CRV, it doesn't have the drilled and tapped ports for the factory setup, so I added an external on. The car will be raced where it's generally cool, so I didn't think I could justify a huge one. Thanks! |
Those brakes = :yum:

Thought I'd share some progress pics of the Civic...
It ain't a GTR, Lambo or Porsche...lol http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...G/3ec2c7f9.jpg http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...G/7e10fc78.jpg http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...G/f651800e.jpg http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...G/deb33ddb.jpg http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...G/ed77d3e0.jpg That's all for now! More coming soon, the car is almost finished! |
that's so awesome! man, I wish I had a garage to go crazy like that... keep us updated please
|
It's looking good! When are you planning the first track test?
|
Well the car still needs stuff to make it run... should be putting it on the dyno this weekend. Before that though, every nut and bolt is going to have a once over and torque painted. I don't want anything falling off on the first drive. :-)
Thanks guys! Rep me if you like it! :-P (this thing has almost 2 years of my life in it! Almost done!) |
