BMW 1 Series M Coupe To Be Priced Near $45K

* 2011 BMW 1 Series M Coupe will roll out in the U.S. this spring starting at around $45,000.
* BMW 1 Series M Coupe gets a 335-horsepower inline-6 mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.
* The U.S. allotment is under 1,000 units.

I wonder how much more than the 135i it will weigh. I am not a fan of the 1 series at all, so "meh."

But yeah, I'd rather buy a used 135i.

I love the looks of the one series. I was planning on getting one until I found out how horribly unreliable they are.

That orangish color looks hanus and im suprised they use it in their commercial. Black is the sex.

Same here... the bimmer was taken out pretty early in the game on my list of cars to buy. Not because its ugly or anything. But because reliability its toilet bowl ahyyty. Fuel pump issues and various recalls up the ying yang. The warranty doesn't help any cuz you're still stuck with the car after it expires...
Certain colors don't look good on this car. Black and white do best... the 1M orangy color is nice too... that's about it.

Girly M3? Just like the miata is girly... funny how all the most fun cars to drive are classified as "girly" lol

The 1 series will make all M3 owners think about what they are getting... a simple flash and some breather mods and this car will haul ***... So far the M3 guys have been justifying that the 135 isnt a big deal because it does not have the M liveries and suspension / "sport-feel" - however now - its really going to make M3 owners question their faith...

Wait till this thing sells a little and we start seeing em on the road - im sure most of them will not be driven by girls lol - Not to mention, around here - the only people I see driving the V8 M3s are rich spoiled housewives....
