just like others have said, i agree that a v8 won't happen in a new z. not only is it against tradition, but the world is progressing to a more fuel-energy conscious mind and that would further inhibit sales. the z is already a niche car being a 2-seater sports car.
as far as a boosted car, it would nice to dream, but adding 10k more to this car? its a 2 seater sports car that starts out at 30k. now we're talking base of 40k. 40k and we're talking base corvette territory. from an economics standpoint, i think it wouldn't make sense to start competing on a corvette level unless the performance was on par. however, if you make a z that performs just as well, if not better than a corvette, you cut into gtr sales. i think the 30-40k niche sports car is where nissan feels comfortable with the z. most likely a mid generation refresh with di to compete with the new 5.0 stang and upcoming z28 camaro would be most likely, while sticking to the current price range. |

Right, sorry. That was a FAIL for me.
Not "twin turbo", just a "turbo". ![]() I guess I'm used to thinking of the Z with a TT, so I just projected. ![]()

I don't want to start a flame war with our resident Juke owners, but some might call the car "fugly". ![]()
