Kizashi tuning help =D
I know this is a 370z forum but i need some help with my kizashi and its kinda dead over there.
pretty much i got the top spec awd with cvt, but the cvt is sorta disappointing. Feels like i'm starting in second, and doesnt like to rev, or go past 3k revs. I wanted to swap out my tranny for a double clutch system. Anyone have any thoughts opinions, input into how i might do this? My goal is to have more power off the line, (it does have 185 hp, but feels like 20 with the cvt), and i want better engine response. thanks guys. keep in mind, not much aftermarket support for these cars. only the basics, intakes, exhausts, thats about it xD http://i1116.photobucket.com/albums/...C_1255copy.jpg |
Drive car to Mitsubishi dealer and trade it in for a Evo X MR

i woudln't bother with the money involved for a transmission swap on a car like the kizashi. keep the mods on the 370z (assuming you still have one...i think?) and just use the kizashi as your daily driver. just dont' be in a rush :p
btw, kizashi is a retarded name. kizashi means 'sign' or 'omen'. omen of what? ur car breaking down soon??? |

+ i can build this like the r&t kiz. over 200 mph, and record holder for salt flats. 2 records, one for turbo and one for n/a. i dont remember the details. ninja edit ftw. |

+1 on what Phelan said, just leave it alone since it would most likely be more trouble than it's worth. |
