I am 28 and am fairly newly engaged. I am getting married in May 2011 and soon after we want to get a house and stop renting. Me and my fiancé live in Pittsburgh, PA and have three car payments. She drives a 2010 Rogue and I have a 2008 Civic EX and a 2010 Z. I have the two because I can't drive the Z year round because of the fact I live in PA. I am currently paying $265 for the civic and $420 for the Z. What I am looking to do is find a nice car to fit in between these two that I can drive year round. I do want a little luxury and some performance but preferably AWD to help me get around in the winter. The car also has to be less than the two cars combined($685), the cheaper the better. I kind of have two cars in mind that fit pretty much what I am looking for but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or advice. Thanks!
The two I am looking at: 1.) Infiniti G37x AWD Premium Package 2.) BMW 335i xDrive Premium Package |

Both cars you are looking at would be a good compromise of luxury and performance, and probably what I'd be looking at were I in your situation. The G can be found cheaper (they have sales going frequently) but the 335 is quicker. Try them both and shop the price.

Both are excellent choices. I can't really think of anything else that will fall into that category. Maybe the Audi S5 but I think the G37 or 335 would be better buys.

I was thinking about that. Just buy out the civic or give it back when it's done and get a "beater" but I don't want to deal with maintaining and fixing a car all the time. Kind of a gamble. And I would be in the beater 90% of the time. I think I'd be miserable lol.

i would avoid the 335i, they have issues with the direct injection clogging up the heads/valves. other than that, they are pretty good cars. i would go with the g37x, and i say that as a neutral statement, not just because i'm a nissan fanboy. very reliable, cheaper (marginally) to maintain, great N/A motor, good trans, very comfortable.
