Formula:

At this weight and hp range, 10hp = about 100 lbs

'Stangs are putting about 390 hp to the ground and weigh 3600 lbs
Z's are putting about 275 hp to the ground and weigh 3232 lbs
3600lbs - 3232lbs = 368 lbs

The 'Stang at it's current weight would need about 37 more hp to match the Z in acceleration. It has more than an extra 110 on tap. If you could get an extra 73 hp out of bolt-ons, you could match the 'stang.
