What will we do with all the old batteries? For me i'm not a big fan of nuclear energy. Way too dangerous. Yes i know most likely it won't explode

What will we do with all the old batteries?
For me i'm not a big fan of nuclear energy. Way too dangerous. Yes i know most likely it won't explode but there is a chance of happening. And if it does I can imagine what it will do to humans and other living things.
