Can you do a breakdown of the costs for a years maintenance (and how much mileage)? Given the information above, that sounds much higher than expected.

By the looks of his driving per year he will need a couple oil changes a year and probably new tires every year. Balance out the other expenses equally after the first year (since many are not until after 15k) he will be in the 3-4k range, with an initial year of probably under 2k.

Honestly for a DD it would be perfect in my eyes and this is from the responses of our own GT-R customers. They have not found any problems daily driving theirs and they love it. One of them is even moderately modded. For rotors Fontana Nissan had improved on the front rotor design with their own rotors which work well when pushed hard, If you plan on tracking the car once in a while.

if your concerned about upkeep....you should buy mine.. all fluids recently changed , new front tires and a set of new OEM brake pads yet to be installed as the current pads are 40-50%
![]() by the way real world maintenance isnt expensive on this car ..... just need to be well informed about buying the fluids online and some tricks about not letting yourself get taken advantage of at the dealer... for example most of the labor in fluid changes are in the removal and re instalation of the under trays.. but once a year they take them off for free for an inspection so just schedule your big fluid changes then... and in between... there is a trick to changing the oil without even removing the under tray.. so $35 of mobil 1 at walmart and maybe $50 to the tech and your good.. only thing you cant get around it tires... fronts last a little over 7K before they cord on average... rears maybe 12-15K... but just buy new fronts when needed and replace a axel at a time.. cuts your upfront tire cost in half... so again if your smart and read NAGTROC you will save money and enjoy the car more i barely pay 1500 a year in upkeep... and brakes arnt a big deal wither +1 on what FLmotion said and on top of that we have guys selling new take off OEM rotors and pads all the time... so when the time comes you have the option to buy a set of those for a lot cheaper or go with some AP slotted or jhooks for maybe $2500 or some.... and that shouldnt be necessary unless your track it... the OEM rotors unless they crack can usually hold up for a 2nd set of pads... and thats roughly $500 aftermarket.... Trust me, I wish I could buy one right now. Unfortunately I am still in school but graduate in May. Then its 4 months to pay off wife's student loans, another 4 months for down payment, and the BAM, new car haha.
