Some new truck?
I took this picture yesterday traveling in the mountains of Colorado... it is some small-ish truck with right hand drive that was tow-testing on very steep grades. Is this a completely new model? Any idea what market they'd make it for with right hand drive but testing in U.S. mountains? Looked like they were pulling a few thousand pounds and it was struggling to go up the big hills.

Looks like it may be the next generation Titan or Tundra?
maybe its someone with a really bad paint job and a huge *** bug guard??
Right hand drive...
looks like a titan.
I added a titan picture to the original post... not sure that's it... or we're looking at the next-gen titan perhaps?
I'm putting my money on a Tundra. Have there been rumors about a new gen going around?
haha... just noticed, if you look in the truck, driver is looking at me... actually looking at my wife who was hanging out the window with my blackberry taking his pic... he definitely didn't want his pic taken - he slowed way down
re Tundra, yeah, maybe that's it! |
Folks, I have a suspicion that you are looking at the new Ford Ranger T6, based on a Thailand built cab-chassis and styleside pickup combo with 3.0 litre turbo diesel direct injection engine. This vehicle was engineered by Ford Australia for Asia Pacific region and I am really interested to see it being tested in the US .....
I'll check carparazzi.com to see what they have listed .... |

Negative on the t6... I just found it! It is the Chevy Avalanche... compare the rear window and tail light on this spy shot... apparently, it shares a chassis with the hummer h3, gmc canyon and isuzu I-series... and I just found this forum that seems to cover the topic comprehensively Spyshots: Next-gen Chevrolet Colorado replacement - Chevrolet Colorado & GMC Canyon Forum
