Interesting...
They replace some parts with carbon fiber, gear boost control device, lightforged wheels, titanium coated exhaust, carbon ceramic brakes, "exclusive suspension" and tires cost 65k?
That's crazy shiet...
140,000 for the GTR? Woof...
Well they aren't even releasing the Spec V in the states, no?
I'd rather get a standard GTR and cop a 370z

Solely capitalizing on the name methinks.

I think Nissan realized that they could've made a lot more money, so they decided to jack up the price for the "Spec-V" knowing that spoiled little kids and mid life crisis people will buy.

Yawn. I remember seeing the kit components months back, and thinking, "what a waste of money".

$7000 for the shocks - understandable, if they're really good
$48000 for the brakes - lawl?
$9000 for a SPOILER? - LAWL?
And a whole splurge of junk that serves no performance purpose what-so-ever. Like the almost-$11000 front seat assembly pieces.

It won't sell unless that price tag was about 10-15k over the GTR, not 70k lmaooo Very sad indeed.

It'll sell. But for the same reason Mustang enthusiasts buy the new Mach 1. Barely any performance increase, for a big chunk of change (still has the god damn Bullitt wheels, no less) more, and "limited edition" sticker on the dash.

It'll be a collectible, nothing more.

Enthusiasts who actually want to drive will more than likely just buy a GT-R.

Hey, maybe for that extra $70000, people will get a transmission worth a damn that has launch control and wont self-destruct after 10 launches?

I read that it was getting a bump in HP from 480 to about 525hp!
And double the price. The hp should be closer to 600 for that kind of money. Man the japenese peeps are smoking crack.

HP is the same as 2010 base GT-R with a switch that gives you 80 seconds of 15 more lb ft of torque
