Test drove a 5.0 Today

They aren't all that heavy compared to similar cars and the weight distribution is pretty damn close to 50/50... FWIW I run 12.87 @ 110 stock.

Edit: Checked the specs on the SRT-8. Definitely BS. You've got at least 1,000 lbs on the 3600 lb 5.0, and only 8 hp more. That was a funny joke!

Don't get me wrong, the SRT-8 is a cool truck, but a 5.0 would rape it.

Ya for sure, anyone that says that the quality isn't there is smoking it pretty hard. It feels solid and well put together. Only thing I didn't like were the guages...seemed like old watches...but really in the big picture that aint ****

I hate the new Mustangs because they drastically slashed my car humor archives. Most of what I used to laugh about has been corrected, so other than pulling out the odd joke just to bother Steve, I'm at a loss.

the Camaro SS/Challenger/Charger SRT-8 cant keep pace with it, sounds like someones been hittin the peace pipe...

Well to be honest, it's a driver's race. Say for instance, the driver of the Jeep SRT-8 was in his or her car and the mustang driver was out of their car, buying a samitch or somethin'. The SRT-8 is gonna rule the road!
