speaking of sound tube, which tune did you go with to go along with your Steeda intake? I'm hearing that Brenspeed is having idle issues, I'm leaning more towards Evo Performance or a basic Jon Lund tune.

What's the sound tube mod anyways?

I just removed the whole thing. Plugged the port at the Steeda, and put a plug in the firewall...Gone!

I experimented a bunch before doing this...Removing the foam plugs etc. I like it better now with it gone.

That's my style, too. I like a refined, highly tuned sound. :driving:

I have decided to start saving up money.

I found a company that imports them here. going to ask for a quote and see what they ask for the import

I cant help it

5.0 V8

badass mustang

delicious stock sound

it is just...so delicious

don't forget for us belgians a mustang is damn exotic and rare

I don't blame you at all Vegitto. I'd be more interested in a Mustang if the V6 variant (or even the V8 really) wasn't such a dime a dozen car around here. I still like the styling of the 370Z way more, but I totally respect the performance of the Mustang 5.0.

That doesn't excuse it. European sports cars are more common and less expensive for you. If anything, this makes it worse. :bowrofl:

jk V-k. It's completely understandable.

I went with the Steeda skip shif/Cai tune...Bought the whole package right from them and it's good...Great support and performance. The only idle issue is a Mustang thing, not a tune issue. A little variance in idle speed and only when the AC is on. There's apparently a TSB on it, but honestly, it's a minor issue....One I don't intend to pursue it's so minor..

the Z is exotic and rare here too but people tend to go like this if they see a mustang
