Add carbonguy to the list. He traded his 40th for a 2011 GT500.

Are you going to pick up a GT500 now Seabreeze?

so is straight line performance what you guys were really missing with your trade decisions?

I like the styling of the challenger, but it is such a huge boat (bigger than the Camaro) that it makes me sad.

agreed. i sat in one and it was almost as big as a 4 dr sedan :shakes head: don't even mention the interior. it was pure garbage. a 47k srt 8 had the cheap crappy plastic switches and body panels of an econobox a 1/3 of its price :shakes head:

m4a1mustang 09-08-2010 02:21 PM

Straight line performance was only one small factor for me. Let's just say with the way this Mustang handles I am not left missing the Z's cornering abilities at all.

I'm in it for the whole package. No matter what preconceived notions you may have about the Mustang, it's an excellent handling car. Motor trend just did an M3/Mustang comparo and it was virtually a draw with the M3 excelling "slightly" in a few areas..The were surprised, especially at half the price.

A few suspension mods (just like the 370 needs) and the car is right there.

And it has Sync! Damn I wish Nissan had better electronics.

:iagree:

Factory balance is superb and will only get better with a few tweaks here and there.

I really can't wait for ZDayZ next year. This thing is going to be a blast on The Dragon and it will tear up the Cherohala Skyway. :D

Only because i owned one in the past, and i doubt more HP will convince me to go back. I think right now for me i would be happy with a 135i at or around 450wheel. For the price range i cant think of anything else new i would rather have, ok maybe STI/EVO but the interiors are worse than the stang lol. If I was buying used give me a 996tt or a 997tt

if it was me, i'd go for the gtr. either that or an m3 or lotus exige.

No way in hell would I ever buy an Exige. Not for a daily car anyways. :icon17:

Vegitto-kun 09-08-2010 02:32 PM

The GT-R is a nice daily driver my parents drive it every day.

hell they once drove from belgium to spain and back

2000ish miles in total.

1000 to spain and 1000 from spain.
