edit: Some people are saying that it is the exact same wing as the WRX STI, but whatever the case is, it looks ridiculous and is unnecessary on a 200hp car.
It's more for aesthetics... not necessarily for racing purposes. Otherwise they'd put a GT style wing. But honestly any car without some sort of wing looks unfinished imo. Even the Z has a little lip spoiler on the sport package which although I'm not a fan of lip spoilers is better than nothing at all.

Yeah, and the aesthetics of it blow ***. The spoiler they had on the Toyota version at the unveiling was much more tasteful and not as Fast & Furious over the top as this.
