2012 is a long ways off and in this crappy economy, time will only tell if it makes it into production.
But as a former original FD owner, a new RX-7 is something that I'd welcome. I have my doubts about whether Mazda can make it that light and if the 16x rotary will really deliver the power needed to compete with the Z.
