TTRS is actually a little lighter than the Z, but has 330+ pound feet and AWD. It should be faster than the Z. I like the TTRS performance and looks wise.
But, the Z looks better to me and for the cost, the slight performance edge could not convice me to get one over a Z... |

I will say that this car is bad ***, can't agrue... But I still think a TT or Supercharged 370z would spank it.
2010 Audi TT-RS by AVUS Performance As we know the TT-RS is a very special model in Audi’s line-up. With its five cylinders, four wheels drive and plenty of horsepower, the ultimate TT-RS sports coupe possesses the same magical combination of qualities as the legendary ”Ur-Quattro”. Audi TT-RS stock engine produces 340 hp and 332 lb/ft of torque, which makes the timer stop at 4.6 seconds for the classical 0-60 mph sprint. AVUS PERFORMANCE took Audi’s ultimate sports coupe performance at the next level. The specialists at AVUS improved the power, aerodynamics and vision of the vehicle. With an adjustable coilovers and gloss black 20“ Sportec Mono wheels with special setup, the AVUS PERFORMANCE TT-RS looks more aggressive and run a lot smoother over counrty roads and race track. AVUS tuner also boosted the engine to the stunning 460bhp and more than 472 lb/ft of torque. With these numbers the 0-60 sprint lasts only 3.8 seconds and the top speed increases to 194mph. True to the motto „Gloss is out, matt is IN“, the tuner AVUS PERFORMANCE painted the striking TT-RS in matt black (other colors avaiable on request). Enter Audi’s range-topping TT-RS. As you probably already know, the aggressively styled 340-hp, 332 lb-ft turbo five-cylinder sportscar isn’t available this side of the Atlantic. Audi says it demolishes the 60 mph mark in around 4.6 seconds and has a limited top speed of 155 mph. Give it the full Avus treatment and the beast becomes a certifiably tarmac terror with 460 hp and 472 lb-ft of torque on tap that’s said to send it to 60 mph in the 3.8 sec range. Quick, yes, but is it fast? Try a top speed of 194 mph. These astonishing performance claims come thanks to a bigger turbo setup, reflashed ECU, and a less restrictive exhaust system. Adding in the adjustable coilovers, stickier Hankook rubber, 20-in. forged Sportec Mono wheels, and matte black livery makes this TT-RS one serious badass. With a stock power of 340bhp and 332 lb/ft of torque it is capable of doing the 0-60 in 4.6s. AVUS PERFORMANCE takes it a step forward and improves the power and the look of the TT-RS. Adjustable coilovers, gloss black 20″ Sportec Mono wheels make the TT-RS look much more aggressive. Thanks to the special setup which improves the factory suspension even further and makes the TT run a lot smoother not only on country roads. Different setups for the race track are avaiable either. he matt black skin is something you will probably notice first when seeing the TT-RS. True to the motto „Gloss is out, matt is IN” tuner AVUS PERFORMANCE changes it to matt black (other colors avaiable on request). To give the TT-RS the final touch for the race track power has been increased significantly to a stunning 460bhp and more than 472 lb/ft of torque. 0-60 will be passed in about 3.8s and top speed increases to 194mph. Therefore AVUS PERFORMANCE modifies the turbo, ECU software and the exhaust system from turbo back with racing cats. Price List: matt black „vinyl“ – 1.999 Euro coilovers – 1.299 Euro modified ECU + exhaust system (460bhp / 472lb/ft) – price on request gloss black 20“ wheels with 255/30/20 Hankook S1 Evo – 6.400 Euro |

The Z costs so much less and still pretty much equals the performance. Throw in a couple mods and the Z beats the TTS. Win=370Z. Besides, the TTS is ugly and the 370Z is beautiful. And the TTS is still a chick car.

if you do a mod for mod between the two cars the TTS will gain way more than the Z. ANd it cost more cuz it has more technologies on it and the interrior is better. How much do you think the Z would cost with a DSG, magnetic ride, and turbo and lets not forget the TTS is basically a port and touring model in one so add all those things to the 40K Z and what do you get? A 50K Z.

Its funny how people will say this car is faster than that car to find out it isnt true then they say well mine costs less so its better. I do agree I like the Zs body shape better but I wouldnt pass up on a free TTS or TT RS for that matter but Z owners always seem to come back and say its the best bang for the buck when even that isnt really true. There is always a better faster car out there and we just have to live with it. The Z for me is a nice DD that will be my car for the next 2 yrs and by then hopefully I can get the level of car I really want, what ever it may be at that time.
