+ I don't really know where I can fit it where plenty of people can share their ideas. So yeah he is thinking about upgrading parts like brakes and so on. he is not really interested at really changing anything about the engine since he doesn't want to void the warranty on that(which I agree with) So what parts/ companies do you advise. One thing he seriously wants is a nice body kit. |

![]() or i can give you a general run down of the basics. really depends on his goals i would say step 1 is a midpipe hands down .. they run $500-800 and give you around 15hp and a totally different sound for the car.. its past the O2 sensors so not really any type of issue... its probably the most common simple and effective mod GTR owners do.. and a nice catback to be added after that if you want a differnet exhaust look.. next a COBB flash usually 40-70hp and on up from a canned to custom tune with some bolt ons like downpipes.. Cobb with exhaust parts make of the vast majority of modded GTRs on NAGTROC as far as bored with the looks.. besides wheels and carbon trim addons there isnt alot to be done with the car with out getting really expensive really fast.. we have a lot of vendors who offer carbon replacement wings and lips... and a bunch of wheels to choose from when the time comes aftermarket rotors and pads are a cheaper and better peforming option than OEM... the stillen AP jhooks or vaned combined with some carbotech pads are probably the most cost efficeint to performance ratio way to go thats a brief overview of the most popular tuning route for these cars Last edited by MC; 05-07-2010 at 09:41 PM. |

Because they first used the license plate they had on the megane because they were waiting for the custom one since they wanted 007-GTR but it took some weeks so they just put the license plate from the megane on it

You can take a look at our full GT-R catalog, with all kinds of upgrades..
![]() As far as brakes, we have done a ton of the AP Racing Slotted or J-Hook rotor upgrades. They last longer than the factory setup, and are less expensive, and outperform. We also have different pad options. ![]() ![]() ![]() We've done a video outlining some of the differences here: AP Racing GT-R Rotor Upgrade Video : STILLEN |

Exactly. I know I wouldn't spend 80k+ for a car to change it looks! Maybe a lip kit at most and maybe a few engine mods like a CAI and exhaust..or maybe just HFCs and window tint. Sh*t, I'd (once again) kill for a GTR. I'm simple...that really is my dream car (besides the Audi R8 haha)
