Father wants to upgrade his GT-R
Yes I know that this is a 370 forum but my father is started to think about upgrading his GT-R.
+ I don't really know where I can fit it where plenty of people can share their ideas. So yeah he is thinking about upgrading parts like brakes and so on. he is not really interested at really changing anything about the engine since he doesn't want to void the warranty on that(which I agree with) So what parts/ companies do you advise. One thing he seriously wants is a nice body kit. |

Because they first used the license plate they had on the megane because they were waiting for the custom one since they wanted 007-GTR but it took some weeks so they just put the license plate from the megane on it

You can take a look at our full GT-R catalog, with all kinds of upgrades..
As far as brakes, we have done a ton of the AP Racing Slotted or J-Hook rotor upgrades. They last longer than the factory setup, and are less expensive, and outperform. We also have different pad options. We've done a video outlining some of the differences here: AP Racing GT-R Rotor Upgrade Video : STILLEN |

IMO the GTR shouldnt be modded on its looks. Its way too nice and exotic to start changing its looks. The only think I would do to the GTR is chip it and be done with it.

Exactly. I know I wouldn't spend 80k+ for a car to change it looks! Maybe a lip kit at most and maybe a few engine mods like a CAI and exhaust..or maybe just HFCs and window tint. Sh*t, I'd (once again) kill for a GTR. I'm simple...that really is my dream car (besides the Audi R8 haha)

Everything is relative.. I'm sure there is a guy in a Sentra saying if he was driving a 370Z he would be happy with it as is.. because the level of performance is on a different level.. kinda the same with the GT-R.
It can ABSOLUTELY big improved upon, but like anything takes the right product selection, and factoring in what the vehicle's plans are. Take for example our Carbon Ceramic Brake Rotor upgrade.. one of (if not the only) aftermarket Carbon Ceramic upgrade in the world, when you normally find these setups on high end Ferrari's and the supercars of the world. May seem expensive up front, but these rotors basically don't wear out, as the factory ones do, so over owning the car for years, this is actually an economic upgrade, in addition to the superior performance (and coolness factor.. ) |

Just because we can afford Zs and drool over GTRs does not mean the ppl who afford them arnt drooling over a Lambo or Porsche... its all relative - to a guy driving a civic (an enthusiast) pines over Zs and would love to accept the Z in standard form... but as every owner of every car is going to want something unique - you will see many such customizations... |
