Personally I feel our car looks better, for the Nismo maybe they should have put the gtr engine into the Z...

and they should make a gtr nismo with 6 turbos... one for each cylinder... that would be awesome...

Hmmm.....I can't even imagine what it's like to hear a parental figure say they want a bodykit for their GT-R.

Or walking to your home after getting off a bus and while walking you hear both the GT-R and the 370 from miles away roaring like hell.

and then you see your dad in your 370 coming in your street...half drifting tires smoking. followed by your mother in the GT-R with squeeling tires.

Then they see you and drive past you slowly

That's awesome! You should totally convince your dad that the Z needs a couple turbos

We split the cost. I paid half of it and he paid half of it and I am paying him off. Thus making it both of our cars untill I pay him off

We wont ever do something like that because it wouldn't go past the yearly car checkup making it illegal to drive on the road.

But my father is a odd man. one moment he is against all form of mods on my car and then out of nowhere he is like "the 370 should look more sporty lets lower it and put on some fat tires and a body kit and oh yeah I might import a new complete brake system for the GT-R because you never know when I will go on a track" I am trying to get him interested into carbon ceramic brakes for the GT-R while I want some of that delicious greddy BBK

I know EXACTLY what you mean! my dad saw a showcar 350 that was all done up and know he wants to get a second 370 so we can slam it, boost it, and slap on some deep dishes.

Knowing him he will probably get a 370 roadster next year because he apparently prefers the 370 to the GTR

The decision on the brakes will be made after the 9th next month since we are going to francorchamps for a full day.

looked at the exhaust, everything is replaced by a titanium exhaust(don't know what brand) except for the cats.

When I was looking at NAGTROC doing some browsing on how to get 500 whp out of a GTR (don't own one, just curious). Guys were talking about as long as you do upgrades past any of the sensors, ie: O2 sensors, that what can they (the dealership) really say as far as warranty goes, you haven't modified anything to affect how the stock engine and ecu operate. Sure the ecu is gonna adjust to the increased air flow in the exhaust but it is still using the stock parameters that Nissan programmed. Another thing to do is talk to the service manager at your dealership, ask if they have a problem with your dad puting a mid-pipe and exhaust on the car or the brakes that were brought up earlier. I have read where the midpipe makes a world of difference in the car so just another mod option. Just my two pennies.

anything past the 02 sensors is gonna give you more like a little over 500 HP at the crank... midpipe and exhaust are good for like 25hp on average without a tune... but your right they have no bearing really on anything to do with the ECU or engine as the boost is electronically controlled... now you get less back pressure so you might get a little more boost and slightly quicker spool but i mean even in stock form. each GTR is gonna vary a little and its not going to factor in as far as waranty...

as for warranty.. here in the US the dealership doesnt have the power to accept or deny big item warranty claims on a GTR.. if you have a transmission or engine issue they get someone from the GTR team involved to pull your information and make the final decision... if you are a GTR owner and your loical dealership gives you BS about installing a simple midpipe just go to another one that will work with you.

the dealership were the ones who advised the bodykit and exhaust and now the brakes .

The benefits of the owner and his son doing nothing but go on tracks and do races and driftraces and tuning their cars.

the boss's son was actually happy when I came to him with the stillen CAI. "thank god finally a 370 with aftermarket parts, the originals are boring me"

Ah yes.

apparently he ordered his brake system. no idea what he picked.

Now he wants new rims

but he wants big rims like 21/22 or bigger since he wants to fill up the wheel arches but without lowering the car
