Also considered G37S and 335i coupe, but decided to order PG/Black interior 370z 6spd, touring, sport and nav. The Z is just too much fun compared to the other two.

To answer the question, I'm looking at used NSX's right now. There are plenty in the 30-35k range, which would leave me with enough wiggle room to pay for any unforeseen problems since the car is most likely going to be more than a decade old.

Another is a basic tuned H/C/I LS1 in a 280 doing bottom 11s. Another is a untuned H/big C/big I LQ4 (6.0L) on N02, we suspect in the mid 9s. LOL! Rehijacked!!! (Sorry. )

i considered a lotus exige, a corvette grand sport, and ended up with the 370z nismo.
in the final analysis, the exige was too small, the grand sport was too big, and the nismo was the right size and less expensive than the other cars in consideration. |

I considered the Challenger R/T or SRT8, BMW 335i, Corvette, Genesis Coupe, Infiniti G37, Lexus 250/350 and finally could not get away from the Z since I had a 350Z.
So considering the best price (USAA) for a great Sport Car I got the 370Z.

Simple the 370Z. The Cayman and 911 are used. The Mustang and Z are brand spanking new. The issue I'm going to take with the Mustang, and lord knows I love Mustangs and Ford, but I would be wary of the new engine and other components. Ford always seems to need a few model years before they get it right. The 4.6 V8 was a great engine, couldn't kill it. This new 5.0 I trust about as far as I can throw it, and its still making less power than the Camaro. 370Z FTW
