2010 altima coupe kinda looks like a baby g37
 

saw one driving around today then checked it out on the Nissan website. looks kinda cool and and come with the vq35de and torque steer!

I saw a black one coming home from work and at first thought it was a G37 but then got closer and realized it wasn't. Nice looking though.

my roommate has one of these...from the front, far away...u can totally pass it off as a G37...haha

Anyone see the similarities between the new Maxima and the Z? seen one and it kinda pissed me off.

Test drove a V6 manual a while back, it really didn't have much torque steer, in fact, it didn't have much feel to it at all, very numb steering. I'd forgive the torque-steer for SOME feedback, a cheap G37 it most certainly ain't. But at least it looks good IMO.

put the g37, altima coupe, and genesis together in a photoshoot...they will all look identical.

my GF has a 09, its grey with a sporty rear spoiler its a nice little car we drive it most every where we go

Nissan really fudged up the rear of the Altima Coupe...

lug you obviously havent seen the pohotshoot of the black g37 and genesis coupe together...I couldnt tell them apart at first glance

the rear is the good looking part. I have an '08 and one day it just hit me that the front was just hideous. with the stupid chrome mustache. I had it painted black to match and added a stillen front lip. Major improvement.

however the fact remains that its still really slow, and with the cvt its too boring. But it will make a nice Down payment on my Z :)

Just yesterday someone came into my work. {at night} and said. Hey is that your sweet nissan out back.. I was like ya sure is.. He said. Nice what is that a maxima???

I feel that Nissan took alot of design elements from the Z when they designed the Altima and Maxima, especially the slope on the back window and shape of the lights, as well as the exhaust, it pisses me off man, you'd think with all their engineers that they could design something completely and uniquely different.

It's all marketing. There are lots of guys that would love a Z but for whatever reason can't do it (2 seats, RWD, lack of cargo room). So Nissan shares design features to make the guy who gets the Maxima feel a little bit like he's got a Z. Similarities between the Altima coupe and G37 are another example.

Thanks, the ol' ball n' chain thinks I should trim the uni, but i think its exotic and appeals to all the young ladies out there nowadays..
