Yes they are 3 ways, I hope this weekend I can start installing them. the tweeter and 4 inch mid already have a space in the door. The woofer however will be fiberglassed into the kick panel.
Today I got a little bit done, got another piece of the sub box fitted to the trunk, as it is not a straight forward square trunk it takes some time.

At least you won't have to work around trunk springs in this car
Kind of weird that the door speakers aren't bigger. Crazy aftermarket stereos. Are you doing like 1/2 the trunk with the box or all of it?

It is pretty much going to be the back board is going to be where the 2 12's are going to be. The new floor is 3 inches above from the old one allowing both amps to be flush mounted into it. Thus allowing a little more than half of the trunk space to remain. The other thing is the rear deck speakers will be removed totally and new ones installed in the rear doors where there is already pre existing ones.

With other stuff going on I still was able to get the JL clean sweep in.
Started out taking the panels off. Cat always lending a hand. I HATE WIRE TAPS Soldering all the wires Wrapped the JL's wires up to clean up the look.

How much current is available from the factory amp wiring? How much does the JL pull?

Not much at all, all the JL clean sweep does it analyze and clean the signal and drop it to low level for the new amps.

Today i worked on the kick panels. The reason for this is there is no stock location for a 6.5 inch speaker in the door. Also this will help imaging a bit by having them facing the drive and passenger.
Drilled holes to help the fiberglass hold to the stock panel. Laying down the foil and tape to protect the carpet. Laying the cloth and resin While that was curing I took off the door panel to take a look at the mid and tweeters. The owner said that the speakers were upgraded but he did not know what they were. All that was upgraded was the tweeter. Have to make a bracket to hold the smaller mid but will be well worth it. The new tweeter

that box looks too big for those IDQ's, they dont like much more than 1 cubic ft. How come he went with the V2 IDQs? Be careful with that amp and those subs in a box that size.
