2010 Nissan GT-R FIA GT1 Race Car

Umm, what I dont get is why use a heavy GT-R Chassis if you are going to replace the motor, transmission, brakses, suspension, etc. Why even bother to do all

Umm, what I dont get is why use a heavy GT-R Chassis if you are going to replace the motor, transmission, brakses, suspension, etc. Why even bother to do all that, just keep the race car they already had. Uses all those parts anyway...

Looks cool, but meh. Should've kept the 350z race car they had and made it faster.

think the car has to be currently in production. yea they coulda used a 370 but why do that when you can use a GTR?

Love the gunmetal colored RAYS wheels in some of those pics. I've heard they maybe become a Volk rim in the future.

Will that series be televised in the US? On Speed maybe?

Marketing. Race on Sunday, sell on Monday. GT-R has a trickle effect from the 370Z down to the Maxima.
