United States Electricity Sources

Coal: 44.4%
Natural Gas: 23.7%

Both of these items are limited resources. And burning coal to create enough electricity to power that car is much worse than just powering it by gas in the first place.

Electric cars in the U.S. = FAIL.

Game Over.

um....we have thousands of years worth of coal. The problem with coal burning is the amount of CO2, not the supply. Nuke electrical power FTW. :D

By saying coal is much worse than gas I am talking about the emissions. I just wanted to mention that they are limited resources just like gasoline.

I am all for nuclear power seeing as how it is my means of employment. ;)

If electric caRs aRe the answer, nuke is the answer to the xtra strain on the power grid they will bring.
