The GTR is for losers who will overpay greatly to own the dream of being Paul Walker.

Both cars hey day has been over for 4+ yrs. Redesign them or let them die.
Well I want say people who buys gtr are losers. I would buy a used gtr.
But the new vette looks promising

The GT-R used to be a good used supercar option. Then the Chevy kicked the GT-R to the curb

A new base MR C8 is far superior to an AWD overweight, outdated GT-R from what I can tell. I've driven a GT-R and it was fun at the time (2013)...

Ford Mustang starting at $26k, Chevy camaro starting at $25k, Dodge Challenger starting at $28k, Dodge Charger starting at $29k.

The point I was making to the other person is that if order for someone to buy an “outdated” sports car, you have to really love the car and/or afford it. There is a reason why people will pay more for less of a car compared to the market.

I'd argue the Z still offers more than all those cars at those price points. But I'm not an ignorant consumer.

No doubt. I love my Z, regardless how “outdated” it is. Even 30 years from now, I think the 370Z will be sought after.

I'm not a big fan of the (road) wheels, but the (steering) wheel looks nice

Nothing special. Nissan is horrible with redesigning their vehicles and keeping up with the market. I will not get rid of the G. Toooo much money dumped in it. They just need to get competitive or bye bye.

A Dime A Dozen on all these "lesser priced" cars....

My Z still garners Neck Straining Looks and Compliments from Young and Old alike and is rare to find on the road... I Like That...

You go ahead any buy your cheaply made and put together "Detroit Muscle Cars" that barely anyone notices on the road anymore... I'll stick to my very original looking 370Z. You don't Like it- Sell it and buy the other types. Free Country still....

Yes, but a Z is not a super car. The problem for a regular car to be on more of the "rarer" side means, no sales than they will stop making it altogether.

It's either u want a affordable sports car or not.

Unfortunately needs to make keel up with the market.
If they make another Z, it needs to have a wide range as in price. Mid $20's and go up from there.

Use a turbo 4 banger for the lesser model and the 3.0tt for more of the top of the line.

And keep with the updates.

But Nissan. Has money issues which isnt good.
Gosen did a good job but got too comfortable and than went to jail.

Once again, you are missing the point I was making. I was not bashing the Z, nor am I fan of the other vehicles I have mentioned.

Not financially. Lol. But you know what I mean. $130k it's not worth it. The GT-R is the only relic that's being pushed with changes you can do on your own for a couple grand and Nissan does them in house and puts a 10k+ premium on the car.
So when I say loser. I mean, not logical people... consumer drones. Imbiciles. Lol

GM has WARRANTIED their cars for race track use. You can literally run a road, coarse, go on a drag strip. Beat the shyt out your car and if it breaks? They will replace your engine and/or your transmission.
Outside the Corvette and Camaro.
What other sports cars are getting track use and in house mod warranties? I'll wait... Chevy has some legit in house aftermarket support as well.

Point is... To put a warranty that solid on a car you gotta be SURE that car is not gonna fall apart under duress, ie, not cheaply built.
Maybe the Z interior wont scratch as easily as a GM car, but build? I've tracked my car and taken some hits to the chassis and the car is is brick. Its solid.

The mustang and challenger also, on track are tanks... while those cars dont have written warranties for track use, as long as you dont mod the performance versions like a hellcat or gt350 or 500. They both will honor warranties on na V8 muscle THATS been tuned. Show me that in any JAPANESE or GERMAN CAR? I'll wait again?

The Z was an amazing car from 2009 to 2012, the Nismo helped resurgence some of that glory from 2015 to 2018.

From a reality perspective. Right now, going into 2021 model yrs. The Z is an outdated parts bin car from the Infiniti scrap heap, where the only original parts are the dash, the base console seats and external sheetmetal. The FM platform is outgunned and outdated by the alpha platform chassis in your much hated muscle. Muscle has completely dominated everything out of Japan and half of Germany.

Hoping for a competitive Z35.

Yes.... those are the only two track worthy cars they build. The camaro and vette were built for the track first, then streetened up. I dont think the SS sedan qualified? But I could be wrong and they dont make them anymore...
