Sorry to break it to you, but Alfa and Maserati are, indeed, FCA (Fiat Chrysler Autombiles NV) brands. Maserati is somewhat independently accounted for even in the consolidated books of FCA.
Ferrari (now Ferrari NV) was under the umbrella but was essentially sold off to existing shareholders shortly after the merger that created FCA was officially ratified by shareholders. But it's correct that Alfa punches above its weight in terms of power output. And the costs of ownership will be significantly lower than with its Merc competitor. |
