This was the Nissan rumour that made me barf in my mouth every night. Thank the Car God that this is in black and white. Just a few days ago they were writing about EV Z's and GT-R's. Woulda been really nice to see a hybrid system, but that likely would have inflated the price even further. I remember back when GT-R's could be had loaded AF for 5 figures.

This will probably be more of a mc laren competitor in price. If it ever comes out. Nissan playing games. Not even sure they deserve the purchase. Lol.

Funny how GM can make a $<60K mid-engine car that does 0-60 in under 3 seconds in base trim, and Nissan would need McLaren money, eh?

actually 15 min after i posted that, an article came out saying the Z drops next year.

sooooooo idk maybe my 2 year release is off. no official word yet. i am watching live updates of the show though.

every new model and facelift shown for nissan so far lines up with info i was given months ago so i am a bit optimistic.

Why u take it so personal? I just found a video n thought it was crazy... maybe u right? Or maybe that new Nissan 3.0l has a lot of untapped potential?

The Q60 was trash in most ways EXCEPT the engine. That engine is screaming for a better chassis, transmission & suspension. I can see someone in a straight line getting amazing potential out of one.
The GTR is a an amazing car. Just old and fat. I don't hate it. I just want a new one as round cuz I'm tired of the old one already. Just like the Z.

i like to argue. you present opportunity not a personal battle.

also, yes engine is amazing. q platform is trash aside from AWD being an option.

new Z will be here in 2 years with the VR30DETT engine and i assume they wont screw up the chassis/suspension....i hope.

also i would enjoy a good body design. could be the factor that sways me one way or another on buying the next Z.

If they do the right thing and pair it with a DCT? The Z will be crazy! If they still use that jatco like with the Q60? It will be a disappointment.

Agreed. They need to move to a dct even though it falls in line with the gtr especially with the engine but it’ll still be half the price and 2wd smaller lighter etc.

The new 2020 Nissan Titan and Titan XD should certainly be a excellent quality build and superior in it’s class still keeping the reliable/dependable 5.6L V8 power plant 400hp/413tq Nissan claims impressive. The Titan should really benefit from the 9 speed transmission I think it will be a better unit from previous years and an improvement/upgrade. Also plenty of towing power and fuel efficiency. If I was considering a truck the Nissan Titan or Titan XD would be on the top of my list.

I have an 8 speed in my Coupe and its about two too many driving in the city with speeds below 40mph. Always searching for a gear. Sport mode solves that problem but still...
