The vette has truly become a supercar. Seating position, stance, power, feedback is decent for e power steering. It's just a Rear wheel drive beast. Now the base car is getting bumped up to 500hp. Fuckin nuts. I'm excited and ready to give them my money!!! The Camaro is almost a marvel of a muscle car. The vette is just bananas.

This is not new...
Anyone who has put 700 hp up - into a production door car - will eventally notice cracks/buckling in the B pillar area, rear window area and a warp in the floor. Drag racers have been fighting this for decades, in door cars. |

Anyway, if it has enough power to destroy itself, and electrical problems (read to the end of the article), then it can truly call itself a supercar. Just when you thought it was safe to go to a Cars & Coffee again! Maybe the Mustangs will take them out before they leave the parking lot??? |

i'm just thinking it's gonna be pushed to a 2021 model.
it's march (almost april) and they havent shown it yet but as a 2020 that means they should be available in august. then again its a vette and every AARP card holder buys one so i guess they dont need long to market it.

The electrical problems, and now this. Twisting of the frame. Something tells me to stay away from the first 2 models years of this car. Poor design with lots of bugs. They been working on this design for how long and just discovering these issues?

I got a few friends that have/had Vette's. Remembering on what they said over the years. Yeah, the first year or two have problems. One guy I worked with bought a first year C7. He has questioned himself a few times of why he bought. He's had a few problems with it.
