People talking about the price is too much when it's 50k...it's about the same as a new Nismo, it's faster and basically better in every way except looks, which is subjective. I mean obviously this forum is going to have some bias but let's not be here delusional people...I'm actually amazed that these start at 50k. No one expected these to start at 50k.

I think the 2020 Toyota Supra is definitely a good idea for Toyota to produce as it will be a long time coming. This new BMW engine will not be the most reliable engine like the original 2JZ engine. Also from what I found out it will be priced higher than the average consumer can afford at just under 60K. We will just have to wait and see what Toyota really decides to enveil in 2020??

BMW anything is a deal breaker for me. If I wanted a BMW, I’d buy a BMW! I hate when manufacturers buy platforms and just slap on redesigned sheet metal and call it their own. This has never been a successful option for any car maker in the past. It will be interesting to see what happens here.

I've been tracking the ft1 supra for years. If I knew it was going to have a crappy bmw engine I wouldnt have even thought twice. Mercedes engines may be a step up from bmw for reliability BUT that's missing the point. |

well the GR is a Turbo inline 6 at $49K. Guess the 4's will be less. I'm going to be pissed if this is a bait and switch. Just like Porsche going to Turbo 4 @ $70K-$100K. Forget that crap |
