The GTV will be nice, but I'm not gonna be looking for a 4-seat coupe to replace my Z when the time comes. I'll want another 2-seater, maybe even a convertible. And I'm certainly not gonna be in the market for an automatic, which means the only car in this class I'd ever consider would be an M4.

I honestly don't know what could possibly replace a Z for me for what I want. There just aren't many manual 2-seaters out there anymore. I see way too many Corvettes that wouldn't want one. The new 718s have Subaru motors, and I'm not spending $80k+ for a 4 cylinder. And the F-Type V6 manual is no quicker than a stock Z for almost $90k. No thanks. The new Supra, like all Toyotas, will be a joke of car. And its Z4 brother, which I had high hopes for, is now rumored to be automatic only as well.

Alfa should have blessed the 4C with a manual. I might have gotten over the fact that it was only a 4 cylinder with those looks and at just under $60k. As it stands, it's looking like I'm just gonna run my Nismo to the ground lol. The only thing I can think of is maybe an Evora 400 that's been sitting on the lot for a while at a discount.

This pretty much sums up my thinking. I'm not some "MT or bust" purist - my 350z had an automatic trans, and it was great, but for me it just wasn't the sports car experience I wanted. I know modern AT's are faster, and I know some people love them. I want to shift. I want to learn how to do it, to feel engaged, to do it well. There is joy in that. I think I'll supercharge my Z, and upgrade any components over time that I don't think make the cut.

The Italians make some of the most stylish cars out there.

The V 8 cars have the best exhaust note I have ever heard.F1 transmission one of the best to drive but fails early.
I like the looks of the Alfa Romeo 4c spider.Roadster guy.Under powered but looks great.
Alfa,Maserati and Ferrari are not reliable cars.Dealers are worse than anything you have seen.Parts are insane prices.You have to pay subscription fee to access service manual.

I could go on for hours on this.
Sounds crazy but I do like Italian cars.

If you buy an Alfa sell when warranty is up.
If you buy and keep you will need deep pockets.
