Another enthusiast car bites the dust.

The Fiat 500 wasn't my cup of tea. N in a place like the Z forum, for most of us... It's not something we are going to lose sleep over from the basic point of view. But to think 8 or 9 years ago they brought Fiat here for enthusiast demand and now they are going to transition to EV cars for Europe only. It's a sign of what's to come.

I think that this is part of restructuring the product lineup across FCA.
4C is also discontinued. But Alfa is adding a new carbon-tubbed 8C to its lineup. Will probably be more of a grand tourer, with electric front axle and gas to the rear, but I’m pretty sure it won’t disappoint.

The 500 has had abysmal sales in North America (particularly in Canada, despite our love for smaller cars) the last 2-3 years. Even the addition of the L and X versions (the latter being a Jeep Renegade in different clothes, or more precisely vise-versa) didn’t really solve that.

Agreed. I'm crossing my fingers for a 6c? If the 4c was stretched out a couple more inches to have acceptable storage and designed to get in and out of a lil easier? I think it could've been a success. The 4c is pound for pound the best sports car out there imho

No such car in the Alfa playbook though...

Maserati Alfieri, perhaps, in 2020. But expect that to come in at US$100,000 or more.
