Has anyone driven the q60 redsport400?
Any thoughts on this beast?
|
It's a sweet car. Little heavy but the power is amazing. It would benefit from a auto trasn re-tune and a ecu flash for better throttle response. It's something I really like as far as a comfortable, power when you want it, and style. That being said it wouldn't hold a candle to a 370Z in the corners but will smoke it on the straights IMO. The infotainment system seems dated at this point and looking forward to the new one they release in 2019-2020

I drove it extensively. I have a full review on here. In short.
Engine Amazing the best TURBO out there for the money . Transmission. Disgustingly bad! Who would do this to a phenomenal engine? The transmission is an abomination. Chassis, not reinforced enough. Feels like a family car chassis. LSD needs serious tuning, Not tuned for enthusiasts. Overall car, Too heavy. Overpriced. |
Yea I was just surfing the web, recently I bought my gf a q50 and it was just so comfortable. And she got a loaner q60 2.0t that was super nice lol. But I have 3 test drives ready for end of april. Stingray, 718 cayman, and the alfa romeo 4c. I might add the Maserati Ghibli, but bleh. nothing as fast as the Z or Stingray.

Most of all, enjoy the experience! Kicking the tires should be fun - makes up for the crappy buying process at most dealerships. |
hell yea will update once i get through them all

Try the Alfa Romeo giulia. It's so amazing. You'll want the quadrifoglio.

After much contemplating here is my final choice.
After driving all the cars, the porsche was nice and all, but too small of a car for me. And not enough power overall. The alfa romeo didnt appeal to my in terms of looks but felt fast. Looked classy but your boi is trashy. Now onto the good bits. The stingray, ooooooh boi did it make me wet. I drove both the automatic and manual, after driving the Z stick for 5 years now in NJ roads the automatic stood out to me more. The interior is lambo level to me coming from the Z. I test drove the z51 1LT but Im kinda thinking towards the Grand Sport if I can get it at a decent price. Trade in the Z for 15k, drop another 10k on top and finance 25k. Im also buying a home in Decemeber!! First time home buyer! |

The Grandsport is the best of both worlds between Stingray and Z06 but got a Z51 3LT no regrets either.
Drove it at the Dragon damn this car is fast but I enjoyed the Z better in the corners! Attachment 129556 Attachment 129557 |
Really wish I could keep the Z but sadly dont have enough garage room for 3 cars. But the Q50 and the Vette should look nice together. Or do I teach my SO to drive stick and give her the Z :()

Not sure who told you guys that Q50s/Q60s come with LSDs, but I'm certain they don't.

Also, why did you buy a vehicle for someone who is not your legal spouse? That's a major potential issue. Please tell me you have some paperwork in place with her to CYA. |

Debt-to-income ratio = or < 45%. If a lender sees an inquiry, then plan on a signed and dated letter of explanation as to why, and if credit was or was not gained, and if so, the amt financed, and payment. That will then roll up into your DTI and then will affect the maximum possible purchase price you wish to be pre-approved for. And, for the LOVE OF GOD: Do NOT co-sign on student loans. EVER. The issue: If the loan min payment does not show on the credit report, AND you do not have a letter stating exaclty what the payment WILL be in the future, then the lender will hit you for anything from 2-5% for the payment, at P+I and then, you're DTI is tanked. Besides, college is a complete scam 90% of the time... exceptions: doctors, engineers, hands on skills.... I love that our WONDERFUL public school system beats people up over polynomial functions and factoring for several years, but when it comes to home purchasing/refinancing/marriage contracts/family law courts/divorce outcomes = nothing. Absolutely NOTHING is taught. Even more sad: 90% of adults don't even know what an amortization table is, how it works, why it's important. The same people that put HUNDREDS of hours researching the latest OLED TV will put .00000000001% of a single nano second into researching how a mortgage works, then fast forward three years: "I didn't know what I signed..." |
