Go out big with a 560Z on a tweaked current chassis. Blow the doors off the domestics and keep it cheap with off the shelf parts. Even the early truck line of 5.6 motors were easily 500HP capable...they've been detuned for daily driver activities in trucks, but a 500HP 5.6 V8 in something as small as a Z would be a whole lotta fun, especially with a tire smoking manual.
Sadly, it'll never happen. Nissan isn't what it used to be. Selling tons of CVT equipped slugs is about as far away from the performance market as you can get. |

No, the next Z won't be out until 2030. And it will have a flux capacitor, and will be able to go to plaid drive.
