And FWIW, in my real world experience, it's been the other way around. Every Jeep we or friends have had, developed an irresistible pull back to the dealership, whereas the MB's in our fleet have been really very good (until they need any kind of service whatsoever, in which case you just hand them your wallet and re-finance the company). So, yeah, everyone has problems with one maker or another. Add those all together, and all brands are apparently shyte. And instead of celebrating what we have we are knocking something else. My God - we've all become Jalopnik correspondents! ??????? |

On the lookout for my next ride. Looking at Mustangs, Vettes, and even possibly the new supra. Call it "Divine Coincidence" or whatever..... On a diff Nissan forum, guy bought a beautiful stang who's engine just tanked. I didn't get it of Jalopnik...... https://my350z.com/forum/other-vehic...ustang-gt.html |

Get 'em before they are gone...
That's not one that will be available "lightly used, only driven by an old lady to church on Sundays"! There might be one or two leftover new ones on store shelves somewhere in the country, but a Viper ACR is hardly a comparable car to Supra (or Mustang). Kind of like hazelnuts to pomegranates. |

so my future father in law's son is a ford tech, and he said they had one on a test drive that grenaded with just 50 miles on it. he said there was a 3-4 month production run with bad motors |

Ford Mustang OWNERS deserve far more bashing than the car does.
Car are complicated machines. It's ridiculous to expect a manufacturer to not have failures. But I don't think it's ridiculous to expect the dealer/manufacturer to take care of the customer when something goes wrong. That's the real problem I have with the industry. The bottom line wins out over customer service and doing the right thing every fuckin time
