Fire breathing "Dragon"

It appears that Sharif Abdelbaset's (owner of Forged Performance) GTR burnt to the ground on the way to TougeFest on Sunday. Ouch!
Check out this post in the Transportation vibe:
Car worth more than $100,000 burns on U.S. Highway 129 known as 'The Dragon'

Right, leaves caused this. Wet ones that that. Looks like somebody wants that insurance check.

Considering he probably paid ADM and he had tens of thousands of dollars in aftermarket parts on this car, I don't think the insurance check is gonna help him much

I usually agree with a lot that you have to say but was this really necessary? God forbid something happens to your car, I may just have to sit here and think dang... but its not like this dude doesn't have a history of being a d!ck head.

On a lighter more serious note, I am glad him and the passenger made it out safely. Having spent time with Sharif @ zdayz I gotta say regardless of what happened at forged in the past he seems like a great guy.

For a random member on a message board, that's one thing. Forged has more than a few very high profile issues that can be laid right at that dude's feet. They've built some good cars, and have some happy customers. But they've also screwed the pooch on multiple occasions, some VERY publicly. I feel no worse for this guy than if I read about something bad happening to John Hennessey.

We're being unfair. Hennessey used to be a lying crook, but he found Evangelical Jesus. So we need to immediately absolve him of any and all transgressions. Even though there are still whispers about him still being a lying crook here in Houston.

Karma ran over his dogma. What goes around, comes around. It was his turn on the wheel of misfortune.

I have no feelings for Sharif and Hennessey. Hennessey took a fellow trackrat and his Viper for a deep pockets ride. Hennessey loved to take the out of state customers for a ride. Knowing not much would happen to him.

Ruin a customer's $250k GTR? Welp, looks like the wheel of karma says you owe one GTR.
