Price point is too high, at that level you have lots to choose from.

rx-7 beautiful car...mechanical nightmare, rx-8 junk lol. rotary guy will even admit too this. surprised they still going too make a rotary the 8 was horrible.

I agree the rx8 was not a good replacement of the FD3S as I owned it for 12years. But I would not call it the rx8 junk, I test drove it when it first came out and yes it was slow but the handling was amazing. I had an s2k I felt the rx8 was similar but the rx8 was a better handling car.

It has to be a 3 rotor turbo at least. 4 rotor turbo would be heaven to some guys.

It was hard for me to waste my time. But as a die hard enthusiast. I'm still hoping this dream comes true.

Great find on bringing this tread back to life, I too am hoping Mazda is producing this car. As with the new supra, it states that the new rx will compete with the Porsche cayman.
