My curiosity and willingness to branch out are getting the better of me lately.
Base M3 with 6MT and Competition Package... anyone ever driven one? Are they garbage after they age? I imagine parts are EXPENSIVE. I don't know much about BMW other than a general knowledge of their lineup (that, and that every single performance/luxury sedan gets compared to a 3-series or M3 - they're the benchmark). I'm wondering if my desires for a single car that does everything I want can be met with one of these. A driver's car that fits the whole family and my junk. I have loved my Q50 so far, but all the stuff I want to change about it is present within the M3 (real rear differential, stick shift, forged wheels, un-crappy tires, as examples). Enlighten me, brethren!

X I will be driving an M4 tomorrow and possibly an M3. I will pass what I can after I get back from Frankfurt area. The M4 is the target vehicle overall but I am keeping my mind open. There was a member here recently who has a black M3 and posted about it on this Z forum!
Possibly hit search and gather his feedback. Also this - BMW M3 (F80) and BMW M4 (F82) General Forum - BMW M3 and BMW M4 Forum |
