It's physically impractical. With FWD, the front tires have to handle power application and steering. There's only so much traction available and the driver has to decide how to dole that traction. Launching is problematic because weight transfer off the front tires reduces traction available.
With RWD, the fronts steer and the rears apply power. Equitable division of labor. AWD has understeer issues under power but has superior launching. To make an FWD outrun an AWD/RWD, it would need a hefty weight (better) or power (not as good) advantage.
