Minimal R&D costs since they have no competitive turbo engines in their stable and BMW has been doing it for years. But given the wonderfully designed Toyota engines in their recent sport attempts with the LFA and the ISF, RCF, and GSF just disappointing to hear they'll potentially tarnish the Supra legacy by outsourcing the engine. The BMW turbo 6s respond great to tunes, but damn don't call it a supra.
