Is anyone besides me seriously eyeing the Supra as their next car purchase based on the rumors, limited information and renderings so far? If the following are realities/options, then I will be getting one:

- Offered with a 400hp+ AWD hybrid
- Reasonably lightweight (considering that it will be hauling batteries around)
- Looks like to a toned-down FT-1 (keeping the F1 front end)
- Has enough room for my golf bag
- Is offered in black
- With good options, a price of ~$65K

Hopefully it is called a Supra.

I am keeping the Z as well.

Who thinks I'm stupid (for what I am saying in this post), and what would it take for you to get a Supra!

I have to see it on person first and see the real specs and the price of course.

Also I hope they dont called Supra if they are going to build a AWD car... My opinion is that they have to stay with a RWD platform and then you can call it a Toyota Supra

I am betting on Toyota since the platform will be designed for a sports car and the Z probably won't be. I am much more partial to Toyota I admit as well. Again, this is unknown at this point. Only 9 months left...

The rumors are that there will be a turbo 4 RWD, turbo 6 RWD and turbo 6 hybrid AWD. I doubt they would offer a 4 cylinder since that would compete directly with the GT86. If a turbo 6 is offered I bet that would be the most popular choice, as I would go for that if I didn't have a Z. If this is the case, and they offer an AWD option, they should call that the Supra GT or something. I agree, they need to offer a RWD version at least if it is called a Supra.

I think as numb as the Q60 is. The RC is more lifeless. I think Nissan will make a more fun to drive car.

yes...waiting until 2018-2019 to pull the trigger on my next car. This is one of the potential cars, a used RCF, CTSV, and Ftype is on the list. All my sh*t talk aside, obviously my true opinions will come out when its released.

It's taking forever for the bedroom the best to arrive. The only great cars that have come out outside of the corvette & Cayman are $120,000+
I can wait to see what the mid-range brings.
