Them m3/m4 sound like S**T, I hope Toyota tunes the exhaust for this new supra lol

You guys are smoking crack. No Supra for you. IF it does come out, it will be like Honda's NSX, all the hype for years and when it finally makes it everyone was saying whatever. Supra's were not that big of a deal in the 90's. The Nissan 300zxtt was. Everybody talked about that car, not the Supra.

Wow you sound like a z fanboy lol Dont kid yourself the mkIV supra was a supercar back then, dont get me wrong I loved the z32, still do, but they were comparing the supra to the euro sports cars back then.

Ummmm, sports cars yes. Supercar? Not really.
While it would take the 300ZX TT, the MKIV would have its a55 handed to it by an NSX or other true supercar of the era.

Not saying it was a bad car - mainly because it was a great car. Will the new one live up to the legacy? Depends on what auto "journalist" you care to read when it eventually hits the ground. Most of them don't know sh!t from putty anyway, so I guess somebody here will just have to buy one and tell us all! ;)

I hope God here you bro! but trust me... Im going to follow this car from close and I hope Toyota don't make the mistake to put a sky rocket price like happen with the NSX... well the NSX when you read the specs and HP make sense I think, but hey bro.... the rumors are that this Supra are going to have just 338hp... with those numbers on table (If are true) my bet is that the price are going to be close to the same price that the new 370z Nismo... Time will tell but if im not wrong, the new Supra are going to be my next car for sure...

Lets see what happen

Too bad that with all those extra HP's, SA80 still could not beat NSX 3.0 around the same track with the same driver! :icon17:

Not knocking what Toyota did with that car, but pumping up a version of a street car does not really make it a "supercar" in my opinion. That was the terminology I was objecting to. Since one man's supercar is another's sports car, it's all good.

Good luck with it, bro!
I hope you are able to score one, and that it's everything you want it to be.
In other words, I hope that Toyota does this one right.
There's always room for one more good sports car in the world.
Might even force other marques to up their game (cough, cough, Nissan, cough, cough).

:iagree: bro! I hope that Nissan make something soon with the Z or at least make the damn IDX to compete with the Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ platform... :icon14:

Why? Other than the first year or two, those haven't been the sales hit people expected. That's probably why the IDX got canned. People just don't want 200hp sports cars, especially at $27k.

Did Toyota run the Supra in the IMSA series. NO!!!! Super car. LOL, No where close. The Supra didn't become popular until Fast and Furious. I like Supra's, they were just not all that back in the day.
