Got the car in Jan 2013 and started modding 6 months later, very slowly. Started with Motordynes ART pipes 6/30/2013 Then I got the TDX2 7/18/2013 Got the install 7/20/2013...video taken in september Motordyne sways 9/1/2013 Stance SS and spc camber arms 9/12/2013 Muteki SR48s Due to my ordering of very expensive wheels I took it upon myself to grab a garage spot at my complex. Chattanooga is NOT a very safe city when it comes to theft % so it was pretty much common sense to get one before my wheels came in after 18 weeks my wheels are finally here! Fast forward to a few days ago
Car is prepped, primed and ready to go for the wrap! Got my 06+ heads coming in this week(thanks to UltraBootz) and working on my gloss black grill at home. Exterior is almost done. Just need legit clear side markers, new taillights and a front and side splitter. After that Ill most likely dive inside the car for interior updates. Going with 3Ms new pearl white gold sparkle wrap. Recently saw a Fisker wrapped in it by the shop doing my wrap and its gorgeous video link http://www.facebook.com/atlcustomwra...5783184533742/ Last edited by Zerafian; 07-03-2016 at 09:42 PM. |

ARC Ti strut tower bar for G35Coupe (authentic) Good job and good luck with your project car. |

So yesterday I jumped on the interstate...hit a dip in the road at about 60mph and one of my exhaust tips fly off, bounces and go over the car behind me and roll into the median.
Luckily it didnt hit anyones car and Im not sure how since there were a good 10-12 cars right behind me. Last week I was doing work on my car, removed the tips and the only thing I can think is that I didnt tighten all 3 bolts that hold the tips on the piping. I took the remaining tip off the car and only one was tight as well. I guess I should say Im doubly lucky since they didnt both pop off. Anyways, now Iv got 2 new tips on the way to my house. The current ones are nearly 3 years old and pretty worn so I figure what the hell. The tip ended up with some deep cuts and the opening is now shaped like an egg. It took a beating, could probably be repaired but Im not about to drive around with it like that. Went with ConceptZperformance since each tip was only $75 a piece after shipping. Motordynes site wanted to charge $111a piece after shipping. Nothing like saving $70 on something I shouldnt have had to replace. I guess my new duradal center caps will have to wait! |

New interior LEDs. Doors, trunk, license plate and over head/courtesy. Made sure to wait until night to get the true brightness. So much better then those garbage dim yellow lights. Makes the car feel a bit nicer too.

Nice G build. Didn't see this thread until now. Subbed to follow your progression.
It's too bad about the tips, I had to installed new tips on my motordyne last week and was thinking to myself how retarded the way these tips are secured by three bolts. I guess you gotta keep checking them every now and then to make sure they didn't come loose. My old bolts were rusted and seized up and I rounded with the Allen wrench...finally had it removed using a flat head and mallet wedging the old tips out. Did you pick up the Gt-r tips? I got the 4.5 but it seems small lol now thinking I should get the 5"

Yeah, it did suck but it was definitely 100% my fault. I stuck with the 4.5", it already kinda feels like a tight fit near the rear bumper. |

Car dropped off at the shop for the wrap! Body shop apparently missed a few things and now Iv got to pay over x2 as much in labor cost for them to go ahead and fix it....
anywho, 7-10 days, optimistically speaking and $2500 later using these guys Atlanta Custom Wraps |
